Τουλάχιστον 13 άνθρωποι σκοτώθηκαν και άλλοι 10 τραυματίστηκαν όταν ρωσικό drone με κινητήρα τζετ έπληξε δύο επιβατικά τρένα που βρίσκονταν σταματημένα σε σιδηροδρομικό σταθμό του Ντνίπρο, στην κεντρική Ουκρανία, σύμφωνα με αξιωματούχους που επικαλείται το Associated Press.
Ο Ουκρανός πρόεδρος Βολοντίμιρ Ζελένσκι χαρακτήρισε την επίθεση «φρικτή» σε ανάρτησή του στην πλατφόρμα X, επιβεβαιώνοντας ότι στόχος του ρωσικού πλήγματος ήταν επιβατικές αμαξοστοιχίες. Οι αρχές δεν έχουν δώσει ακόμη περισσότερα στοιχεία για την ταυτότητα των θυμάτων.
Η επίθεση έρχεται σε μια περίοδο κατά την οποία το σιδηροδρομικό δίκτυο της Ουκρανίας εξακολουθεί να δέχεται ρωσικά πλήγματα, με θύματα εργαζομένους και επιβάτες.
