A 26-year-old foreigner was arrested on Tuesday afternoon by police officers of the Rapid Action Unit/G.A.D.A. in the Rafina area, pursuant to a red notice from the Turkish Authorities for premeditated homicide.
Specifically, according to an announcement by the Hellenic Police, police officers of the Rapid Action Unit during their patrol in the Rafina area located the 26-year-old and considered him a suspect.
A check of his documents revealed that a red notice from the Turkish Authorities is pending against him, as he is accused of having shot another fellow Greek in August 2023 while riding a motorcycle in an area of Turkey, resulting in his fatal injury.
The arrested person was initially taken to the Rafina - Pikermi Crime Investigation and Prosecution Department and then to the competent Public Prosecutor's Office.
